This portion of my portfolio showcases a select few logo/icon projects I have completed. These designs have been primarily completed through Adobe Illustrator.
Arabian Knights
Arabian Knights Hookah Lounge was a design commissioned for a hookah bar specifically catering to renaissance festivals. The client provided a few Middle Eastern themed photos and a hookah in their request and asked that the colors be blue and gold. For the color palette, a more muted shade of blue and gold were chosen to create a more rustic image that aligned well with their chosen market. For the visuals, a hookah, skyline, and simplified longsword were added to both play upon the words as well as include imagery of the hookah.
Greenbrier Nursery & Gifts
Greenbrier Nursey & Gift was commissioned for a plant nursery. This version includes both the primary logo and a flower border created for secondary purposes such as special merchandise. The client was very pleased with this variant that it became her primary logo for a majority of her advertisement and merchandise.
The nursery was well established but rebranding due to a change in ownership because of that the client requested a more traditional and simple style. She wanted a green and brown color palette. A eucalyptus plant was settled on for the center plant due to it dainty and simple but elegant appearance. For the outer flower circle, The yellow and pink flowers were added to provide a pop of color while the branching leaves were set to match the shades of green present on the center sprig.
Folklore
The Folklore icon was commissioned for a fantasy MMO/RPG centering around an adventurers questing through levels in a magic tower. The tower itself had old lore and storied past behind it documented in books and scripts collected through the game. This inspired the primary graphic of the tower emerging from a book. The background is meant to emulate stained glass and evoke more of that fantasy component. The palette is meant to be bold yet classic.
